Context

In today's fast-paced and technology-driven world, digital solutions have become increasingly prevalent in various industries, including healthcare. The rise of mobile applications has revolutionized the way individuals manage their health, with apps catering to a wide range of needs, from tracking fitness activities to monitoring chronic conditions.

Problem

Many health management apps are not designed with seniors in mind, lacking simplicity and accessibility.

  • They often contain information that may be difficult for patients to comprehend, requiring the assistance of a healthcare professional for clarification.

  • The absence of barcodes makes it challenging to easily access and manage comprehensive medical records.

.

Solution

Designing an app is to provide users with a user-friendly and accessible platform for managing their medical records and health-related information.

  • Universal

  • Convenient

  • Easy

  • Friendly

Methodology

We conducted comprehensive user research, including usability testing and user interviews, to gain valuable insights and inform our design process.

Research & Findings

From conducting 7 user interviews and asking 12 questions, we gathered valuable insights.

  • Users rely on physical documentation for medication records instead of health apps.

  • Elderly family members find health apps and websites confusing and seek assistance for doctor appointments.

  • Existing apps and websites are perceived as complex, with small font sizes causing frustration.

  • Users desire a simplified app for doctor appointments, medication record-keeping, and prescription management.
